Christine joined the board as an extension of the Provincial Board for PEI Women's Institute. She also serves on the Premiers Action Committee on family violence prevention. In 2022 Christine and two of her friends started a charity called Angels of Prince Edward Island. They raised over $140,000 to help those in need in Ukraine. After moving to PEI in 2017 Christine opened a business in Charlottetown called Material Girl Fabrics.  She is an Interior Designer with a staffed workroom to make custom decor and upholstery. Christine is also an artist and often donates prints of her art for charity auction. Giving and volunteering is a passion she believes in.
