Bonita Matushewski is the CEO of BJM and Associates, a boutique management consulting company established in 2008. Her firm is dedicated to delivering specialized expertise in quality improvement (Lean Six Sigma), organizational change, and strategic planning for both public and private organizations throughout Canada.

Hailing from Saskatchewan, Bonita cultivated a strong work ethic from a young age, starting in her family's bakery. Her academic journey led her through the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina, where she graduated with a degree in Public Administration, Political Studies, and a Project Management Certificate. She also holds certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Master.

Bonita’s professional career began as a Senior Policy Analyst and Privacy Officer with the Saskatchewan Government before transitioning to healthcare, where she discovered her passion for quality improvement. In 2008, she joined a management consulting firm, eventually assuming ownership in 2016. In 2020, her dedication to public service led her to Prince Edward Island, where she continues to serve the local community through her consultancy.

With over 16 years of experience, Bonita and her team have provided consulting services to municipal, provincial, and federal governments, as well as to industries such as food production, manufacturing, financial institutions, post-secondary education, agriculture, and the liquor industry.

Bonita is committed to giving back to the community. Her volunteer journey began with the Saskatchewan Children’s Hospital Foundation, where she chaired the Radio Marathon for five years. She has also been involved in organizations like Kid's Sport and the Canadian Progress Club, serving as Vice-President and President of the Regina chapter, and as Director of Education and Communications on the National Board.
