A graduate of the UPEI Bachelor of Music program and Memorial University’s Bachelor of Music Education program, Marc is a freelance oboist and music teacher based in PEI. Following his undergrad at UPEI, Marc began his career teaching oboe at the Sistema program in Moncton, where he taught classes of beginner oboists, coached the Moncton Youth Orchesta oboe and winds section, as well as the New Brunswick Youth Orchetra oboe section. Marc performed with the Tutta Musica Orchestra as first oboist during this time. He returned to PEI to complete his practicum for his Bachelor of Music Education in 2021.

Since returning to the island, Marc currently runs a private teaching practice in Miscouche called “Music with Marc,” where he teaches oboe, piano, woodwinds and music theory to students of all ages.
