PEI Symphony Orchestra and Double Hill Cidery Unveil New “Symphony” Cider
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Charlottetown, PE – September 29, 2025 – The PEI Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce a new partnership with award-winning artisan cider maker Double Hill Cidery: the release of a limited-edition “Symphony” cider, now available at select Liquor PEI retail locations across the province.
Created in celebration of the PEI Symphony Orchestra’s 58th season, “Symphony” is a bright, beautifully balanced cider crafted with Double Hill’s signature care and attention to detail. This unique blend captures the elegance and nuance of a live symphonic performance—light, expressive, and distinctly Island-made.
What makes this collaboration even sweeter? $1 from every bottle sold goes directly to supporting the PEI Symphony Orchestra, helping sustain its mission to bring exceptional live orchestral music and arts education to Islanders of all ages.
“This partnership is a beautiful blend of craftsmanship and creativity,” says Jamie Trainor, Interim President of the PEI Symphony Orchestra. “We’re proud to team up with Double Hill – an Island favourite – to raise a glass in support of music, community, and local culture.”
Sebastian Manago, owner of Double Hill Cidery, shares the excitement:
“This cider was made to honour the feeling you get when music truly moves you. Partnering with the PEI Symphony Orchestra has been a natural fit – our work at Double Hill is about creating something expressive and enduring, and that’s exactly what the PEI Symphony Orchestra brings to the Island every season.”
Double Hill Cidery, based in Caledonia, PEI, is known for producing small-batch ciders from hand-harvested apples grown on their scenic orchard and vineyard. “Symphony” is now available at Liquor PEI stores across the province: https://liquorpei.com/products/double-hill-symphony .
