Academy For Young Musicians 2026-27 Auditions

The PEI Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce Year 3 details of PEISO Academy for Young Musicians, a dynamic education program dedicated to fostering the chamber ensemble skills of young musicians aged 18 years and under.

Our second year was a resounding success, with 12 enthusiastic and talented string, piano and woodwind (new!) students collaborating in trio ensembles. In addition to their coaching sessions, these students received masterclasses with our music director, Jaelem Bhate, and participated in performance opportunities including the PEI Music Festival (in which two of the ensembles will be performing in the upcoming provincials sessions).

Program and audition details are in the Google Form link below.  We encourage you to help us spread the word to your teaching colleagues and to any eligible students.  Auditions are on May 31st and June 5th; online applications (Google Forms) accepted until May 29th.
