I am a Charlottetown native that graduated from UPEI in '85 with a Degree in Arts (Economics and Political Science). With university behind me I moved to the GTA where I met my wife Janet (who was also born and raised on PEI). We built a life together, raising three sons. In 2006 we moved out to Sherwood Park, Alberta, where I filled my days as a manager of a steel distribution company, taking the boys to sport practices and games, and sucking up whatever Edmonton culture had to offer that particular weekend.

Edmonton (with the help of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra) is where we discovered a passion for the symphony. We returned to PEI in the fall of 2023.  I am now the general manager of the Egg Producers of PEI and Janet is a physiotherapist with Aspire Physio.

My fondest symphony memory? A mystical night at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, witnessing the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic's delightful performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No.1.
