Annual Fruit Sale Fundraiser Goes Digital!

Our annual fruit sale fundraiser has returned, though this year it is a little different than what you are used to!
Staffing the booth at the Charlottetown Farmers’ Market has been difficult due to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak that we have been dealing with here in PEI. The solution we have come to is to use the Market’s online ordering system, where customers can place orders early in the week, then pick up their order on Thursdays.

Here’s How It Works:

STEP 1 — Knowing you’d like to pick up a bag or box of oranges and/or grapefruits on an upcoming Thursday, customers are to visit the online store at and have your order placed between the previous Saturday at 5:00pm and Tuesday at 9:00pm. Outside of that ordering window, making purchases will not be possible.

(The first time you use this site, you’ll have to create a username and password. From then on, just log in with that same username and password.)

STEP 2 — Once you’ve already paid online for your order, simply arrive at the Market on Thursday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm to pick it up. Don’t forget to shop for some of the other local products on the Market’s website while you’re there! The same system will apply, and you can pick everything up all at once.

Products and Pricing:
?? Bag of 10 oranges: $13.20
?? Half box of 44 oranges: $38.50
