Lieutenant Governor of PEI supports PEI Symphony

In her capacity as PEI’s new Lt. Governor, Antoinette Perry has extended her patronage to the PEI Symphony Orchestra.  By providing her personal patronage to support and encourage worthy endeavours such as the PEI Symphony Orchestra, Her Honour continues the long tradition as the Queen’s representative in supporting programs to educate and advance the cultural achievements of Islanders.

Her Honour hosts free chamber music events at Government House for the PEISO. Attending these by-invitation events is a great way to meet PEISO staff and season subscribers who share a love of classical music.

By focusing attention and lending her support on public service, philanthropy, the arts and community volunteerism she inspires and sets an example for all the residents of PEI. Given her background as both an active musician and choir director, the PEI Symphony Orchestra greatly appreciates the patronage of Her Honour, Antoinette Perry (pictured here conducting O’Canada to commence our Canada 150 Concert in November 2017).
